Welcome aboard, Tamara!
Longtime community supporter, Tamara Amirault, joins Midtown!!
Tamara has been a K-W resident and community advocate for decades. She recently upgraded her skills in grad school, and is thrilled to get back to direct client care.
Tamara has worked and volunteered in a wide range of ventures, mostly non-profit and 100% toward improving the lives of those around her. She’s worked in churches, programs for unplanned pregnant woman and individuals with developmental disabilities, research on immigrant integration in the Region of Waterloo, and more. She’s on track to receive her Master of Social Work degree, and with it, registration as a Social Worker and Psychotherapist.
We’re amazed at Tamara’s energy and enthusiasm for client care and professional excellence. We’re appreciative of her mature warmth combined with childlike curiosity.
In short, we’re THRILLED to introduce you to Tamara!
Tamara is newly offering counselling services at Midtown as an ASSOCIATE THERAPIST*.
*This title denotes Tamara’s status as a less seasoned therapist who is awaiting registration as a Social Worker and Psychotherapist. Associate Therapist service fees are priced accordingly, at $100 per session. These sessions may be more attractive to clients looking to maximize limited out-of-pocket funding or smaller health benefit plans, and to those who prefer the open-mindedness of a newer provider.
Tamara enjoys working with children and adults, and folks from every walk of life. She offers remote and in-person services, and sees clients on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. She’s ready to start when you are.
