Celebrating Emily, our first Associate Therapist!
Midtown welcomes our first Associate Therapist, Emily Cook!!
Before coming to Midtown, Emily was working in the fields of addictions, mental health, and eating disorders. She is a registered social worker and psychotherapist and has been providing clinical services since 2019. She is currently pursuing graduate studies in social work at the University of Windsor.
We’re very impressed with and appreciative of Emily’s growing clinical skills, client-centered engagement, and enthusiasm for learning and teamwork.
Moreover, she loves working with clients and deeply values each person she works with.
We are so pleased for what this brings to our community!
Emily is newly offering psychotherapy services at Midtown as an ASSOCIATE THERAPIST.
This title denotes Emily’s status as a less seasoned psychotherapist and that her masters degree is in progress. Associate Therapist service fees are priced accordingly, at $100 per session. These sessions may be more attractive to clients looking to maximize limited out-of-pocket funding or smaller health benefit plans, and to those who prefer the open-mindedness of a newer provider.
Emily loves working with youth and adults. She offers remote and in-person services, and sees clients on Wednesday evenings, Thursday days and evenings, and Saturday mornings. She’s ready to start when you are.
